Custom fire pits

This beautiful fire pit was commissioned by a customer looking for a truly unique centerpiece for his backyard. He wanted to find a way to incorporate his family’s mantra, “this is us”, and make it large enough to host gatherings with his friends and family. We designed this rectangular fire pit combining the style of the Modern Cube, with the rod ring footrest of the Octagonal cottager – the best of both worlds. We also included multiple grill adapters to allow for some fireside cooking.

An avid fisherman approached us with an idea for his perfect fire ring. He wanted his fire pit to match the aesthetic of his trailer, and be truly one-of-a-kind. We worked with him to design the fish cutout on a custom 36in Cupola Fire Ring.

This fire pit is a behemoth! Coming in at 1060lbs (480kg), it is one of the largest we’ve built. It is a scaled up version of our popular Octagonal Cottager design, with built-in foot rest and grill adapters. It also features 4 custom monogramed panels, laser cut into the steel.

This custom 4′ Pyramid fire pit was outfitted with 3 removable wind panels. This clever design allows the user to shield their Pyramid fire pit from an oncoming breeze, extending the use of the fire pit. When the wind has died down, any of the three panels can be easily removed and stored for full viewing access to the fire pit. Because the mounting are welded onto the fire pit, this modification must be done at the time of ordering your Pyramid fire pit.

Based on the 6′ Chiminea Outdoor Fireplace by Iron Embers, this custom design project was commissioned as a towable solution for ice fishing trips in northern Quebec. At 325lbs, it is a very solid fire pit. The client requested it to be raised up off the ground and have the floor insulated to limit the heat radiating down, melting the ice. For safety and convenience, we added a footrest around the perimeter.

This custom log rack is a unique take on our standard 4′ Tamarack Log Holder. The customer wanted to modify it by adding a sloped roof for water drainage, and a backing plate with airflow slots. These two features ensure that the firewood stays dry and ready to go at all times!

This custom 3′ Cottager was built to be a family heirloom. The client approached us with a unique family emblem, wondering if we could incorporate it into a fire pit fir their family. We designed this beautiful 3′ Octagonal Cottager fire pit with their family crest laser cut into one panel. Many proud memories will be made around this fire pit!

This unique chiminea is one of the heaviest fire pits we’ve built, coming in at an impressive 950lbs (430kg)! The client wanted an outdoor fireplace styled like a traditional chiminea, but made from thick 1/4″ steel for longevity. Because of where it was being placed on the customer’s estate, they could not use heavy equipment to install the unit, so we designed it to break down into 3 smaller, more manageable sections. It’s designed with locking double French doors on the front to give an unobstructed view of the fire, and a chimney to direct smoke up and away. This custom chiminea looks great at any large estate or commercial setting! It also included a custom vinyl tarp cover.

This custom fire bowl is a modification of our standard 3′ Polygon Fire bowl. The client wanted to raise it up about 4″ for more ground clearance and a better viewing angle for the taller chairs they were planning on setting around it. Since the client was an avid backyard chef, we included 4 grill adapters for maximum versatility. These adapters are compatible with all Iron Embers BBQ grills.

This unique square fire pit is a take on our Modern Cube lineup. It has been scaled up to be 27.5″ x 38.5″, making it a very substantial unit. The client had a very specific design in mind, and we worked together to create this stunning layered diamond feature laser cut into the side panels. Once the fire pit is burning, they will be able to see the flames dance through this cutout. It also supplies more airflow to the fire.
